Zooring is a cat food
ZooRing cat food is a domestically produced product positioned as a super-premium nutrition. Its formula was developed by nutritionists and veterinarians based on research into European pet food. The manufacturers' goal was to create high-quality pet food at a reasonable price. ZooRing products contain all the necessary components for normal functioning of the animal's body. The ingredients used in production undergo strict quality control.
Manufacturer
ZooRing cat food is manufactured in Russia by VsemMirom LLC. In addition to cat food, the company also produces dog food, dietary supplements, and probiotics. VsemMirom also owns the Formula 365 – Complete Lunch brand, which produces daily diets for dogs of all breeds.
The company draws on the experience of leading imported pet food manufacturers. With over 20 years of experience in the pet industry, the company has developed a proprietary formula that meets all pet needs and replenishes daily energy expenditure. Furthermore, the cost of its products, compared to imported food, is reduced by various costs associated with transportation and customs clearance.

Our domestically produced pet food utilizes state-of-the-art equipment from the USA, the Netherlands, and Japan, preserving the beneficial properties of the ingredients and producing high-quality products. All ingredients undergo careful selection. Each batch of finished products is individually assessed for compliance with established quality standards and receives a corresponding certificate.
Compound
On the manufacturer's official website, it states that Zooring contains all the necessary components for the normal development and functioning of cats. The food contains animal protein and uses a hypoallergenic formula (with minimal grains). Zooring food is available in a wide range, and its composition has the following general characteristics:
- Squirrels. The main source of protein is meat. Depending on the diet, chicken, turkey, duck, goose, lamb, and salmon may be used. Dehydrated meat is used in the formula, with the percentage ranging from 24% to 40% (the highest percentage is in kitten diets and the lowest in spayed cats). However, some types of food don't specify the meat percentage at all (for example, in food for long-haired cats). Furthermore, the origin of the meat itself is confusing. For example, in a kitten diet with lamb, where the main ingredient (lamb) is listed on the packaging, the ingredients state that the dehydrated meat includes poultry (the exact type is unknown), fish, and at least 4% lamb. The same situation is observed in other foods: dehydrated meat is deciphered as poultry with the addition of a main meat component (goose, turkey, etc.) of at least 4-5%. Hydrolyzed meat proteins are another source of protein. Again, their origin is not explained. The analytical composition lists crude protein at 30 to 34%, depending on the type of diet. Plant-based proteins are not present in the diets.
- Fats. They are represented by fish and poultry oils. The analytical component ranges from 16 to 18%. Fats are involved in many metabolic processes and are an important energy carrier, as well as an additional source of protein. Therefore, they are very important for the pet's vital functions. They also contain omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are essential for the normal functioning of many organs and systems, particularly the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

- Carbohydrates. The main source of carbohydrates is maize, or corn. This is not the best ingredient for feed. Super premium classRice is also added to the diet for sterilized cats. On the manufacturer's official website, it states that the food uses a hypoallergenic formula with minimal grain content, but the exact percentage is not specified. However, in many diets, grains are listed as the second most important ingredient (meaning their amount cannot be ignored). Also, large-breed diets contain wheat, which is often a cause of allergic reactions in cats and can disrupt digestion. Carbohydrates comprise 29 to 37% of the diet's nutritional composition, meaning their amount is equal to or even greater than the protein content.
- Plant components. Ingredients: dried apples, yucca schidigera, wheat bran, microcrystalline cellulose, and dehydrated yeast concentrate. Crude fiber levels range from 1.85% to 3.5%.
- Vitamins and microelements. ZooRing is enriched with a vitamin and mineral complex, which includes: vitamins A, D3, E, B1, B2, B6, B12, K, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, choline chloride, biotin, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, lysine, methionine + cystine, tryptophan, taurine.
Range and price
ZooRing food can be selected based on your cat's age, individual physical characteristics, and taste preferences. The following dry kibble products are available:
- for kittens with chicken, duck, lamb or turkey (hemoglobin is also added to some diets, which is indicated in the composition);
- for adults with chicken, duck, turkey, goose, as well as combinations of duck + turkey and turkey + salmon;
- for sterilized and castrated individuals with turkey;
- for long-haired pets with duck;
- for beautiful coat and skin;
- for large breeds;
- to remove hairballs from the gastrointestinal tract.

The company also produces pates and canned food with pieces in jelly in the following flavors:
- with turkey;
- meat festival;
- chicken and duck;
- royal dinner;
- seafood cocktail, etc.
The cost of Zooring will depend on the type of diet and package size. On average, it costs:
- 350 g – 150 rubles;
- 1.5 kg – 550 rubles;
- 10 kg – 3000 rubles.
The price of wet food is 770 rubles for one 100 g package.
Pros and cons
The main advantage of ZooRing nutrition is the use of meat as the main source of protein. Protein is easily digested by the cat's body. Other benefits include:
- rich vitamin and mineral complex;
- use of natural fiber;
- addition of essential amino acids and fatty acids (taurine, omega-3 and 6);
- no artificial flavors or preservatives.
The disadvantages include:
- the presence of carbohydrates in the form of corn or wheat without specifying the percentage component.
High levels of simple carbohydrates can cause gastrointestinal upset and trigger allergies in cats. Therefore, such food should be chosen with caution for pets with sensitive digestion.
Reviews
Yana K.:
"This is a very good food. I heard reviews about it while waiting to see the vet. I bought a 350g sample of the duck and turkey variety. It worked perfectly for my cat. After 3-4 weeks, the coat quality noticeably improved. I was also pleased with the price. It's a good value for money, and it's also domestically produced. The downside is that it's hard to find in stores. It's easier to buy a large pack online."
Irina Murovaya:
"ZooRing food isn't considered Super Premium. Premium, or even Economy, is the maximum. It contains a large amount of corn, which is a cheap filler found in foods of dubious quality. Corn is very difficult for cats to digest, and excessive carbohydrates can lead to urolithiasis. Cats, by nature, need meat, not grains. Therefore, good food (which always lists the percentages of all ingredients, which ZooRing doesn't) can't be cheap."
Olya Selezneva:
"I've been buying ZooRing for two months now. My pets (two cats) are happy. I liked the formula because it uses meat, not by-products. Their fur and skin are in excellent condition. Their stools are regular, without excess or unpleasant odor. The cats are active, running and jumping, and haven't gained any excess weight."
