Animal rights activists are seeking to win a tender to capture stray dogs.

In the city of Ulan-Ude in Buryatia, an organization has been established that includes all the city's specialized facilities that meet the established requirements for housing stray animals for a specified period.

Currently, the most active members of this organization are consulting with lawyers to properly complete the paperwork and participate in the competition. If the funding is allocated to existing shelters, the situation with homeless animals will change dramatically.
For several years, money has been allocated to catch stray dogs, but for some reason the dogs still huddle on the streets and sometimes express aggression and attack people (passers-by).

What does the director of the Nadezhda shelter think?

Lyudmila Levantueva, director of this shelter for homeless animals, which houses approximately 200 dogs, believes that if they win the tender, all the funds will go directly to the dogs.

What will be done to solve the problems?

Animal rights activists have formed an organization to help them meet the requirements of the ongoing competition. The organization requires 1.5 million rubles of personal funds. The organization doesn't have that amount, but one animal rights activist is already thinking about how to solve this problem. Once the dogs are in the shelter, there's a greater chance they'll be adopted by new owners, giving them a second chance at a happy life.
