The atmosphere of the exhibition
The event is hard to miss. A large area in front of the hall is filled with dog owners walking, feeding, and grooming their pets. You might spot a border collie or a cheerful group of golden retrievers. Admission to the show is free.
The most popular show breed
A wide variety of breeds were represented at the fair, from popular German Shepherds to rare Chinese Powderpuff Dogs. But Jack Russell Terriers were the most widely represented.
These are very intelligent, interesting, and funny dogs. They obey their handlers' commands in the ring without question or listen curiously to their owners' conversations.
Dog products
If you didn't bring Mukhtar, no problem. Various dog trinkets were on sale at the exhibition. You could choose a cute leash, collar, or treats. But the visitors' favorite items were the dog clothes.
There's something for every taste and color here. A pink dress would look great on a female Yorkie, for example, while a waterproof suit would suit a Great Dane.
Best in Show for young dogs
The highlight of the program was the Best of Breed Champions. The finals in the junior categories were the most spectacular.
Competition rules
The best representatives of their breed participated here. The competition was judged by international experts. The little finalists entered the ring to a standing ovation from the audience. First, the four-legged dogs had to run in front of the judge. Their grace and ease were assessed.
The judge then examined each dog individually, standing still. They had to stand gracefully and not move. Afterward, the dogs were compared again. Finally, the host announced the winner and runner-up. The best dogs received trophies, sponsor prizes, and beautiful rosettes. The finalists received souvenirs. The winner of the best baby competition was a charming Welsh Corgi.
The puppies' finale was dramatic.
Animals aged 6 to 9 months participated. Due to the huge number of contenders for the title, a qualifying round was necessary. Guests watched the competition with delight. It was difficult to determine the future winner.
Many people admired the elegant miniature poodle. The handsome fellow looked stunning. But when the judge asked his owner to take her pet out for a run, the little fellow became shy. Ultimately, he didn't win a prize.
The Irish Wolfhound won the show's best puppy. The little fellow held his ground confidently, obeyed his owner, moved beautifully, and earned the guests' applause. He simply loves to win.
The wonderful exhibition delighted dog lovers from different countries.
