An exhibition of homeless dogs from Moscow shelters

On September 5, 2015, Moscow's City Day, the #DogDay exhibition of mongrel dogs from Moscow shelters will take place in Novodevichy Park! The exhibition will feature 50 dogs from various shelters and private foster homes, any of which is available for adoption (passport required). All dogs are healthy, vaccinated, socialized, and fully adapted to home life. The exhibition is an excellent chance to meet several dozen dogs in the relaxed atmosphere of the park, without having to travel to the shelter. Visitors will be able to interact with the animals and their guardians, learn all about the dog's personality, characteristics, and habits, and fully appreciate the fact that shelter dogs are absolutely wonderful, kind, open, and healthy, and each of them can become a true friend!

You'll also be able to buy designer collars, handmade dog treats, T-shirts, bags, stickers, phone covers, and other cool things for dogs and their owners at the exhibition. All proceeds will go to the organizing charity. We invite everyone to spend this festive day in the company of furry tails and wet noses, treating yourself to wonderful, kind emotions, and perhaps even a new family member! Bring the whole family, and be sure to bring the kids—this will be an unforgettable adventure for them and a chance to choose their most loyal friend! The exhibition is open from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The venue is located near the bridge over Novodevichy Ponds.

  • I was at the show. It was pouring rain in the morning. Then it got drier. Despite that, a lot of people showed up, and in the end, we took 14 dogs.
