World Dog Show 2016

The World Dog Show has concluded in Moscow. The grand event generated incredible excitement among Muscovites and visitors. The event included obedience competitions, a dog dancing championship, and a "Young Handler" competition. But the highlight of the event was the all-breed dog show.

Upon entering Crocus Expo, visitors are immediately immersed in the atmosphere of the global forum. The hall is decorated with paintings depicting scenes from the lives of dogs. Statues of man's best friends stand in the lobby.

Participants of the show

Over twenty thousand four-legged animals participated in the exhibition. They came from various countries, with Russia having the largest representation. The contestants were judged by European, Asian, and American judges.

Not all participants withstood the intense competition. The dogs were very affectionate towards their handlers. They obeyed commands without question and shared the joy of victory with them. The WDS demonstrated that interest in handling is constantly growing in our country.

Many children participated in the "Young Handler" competition, demonstrating excellent interaction with their pets.

Charming poodles

Artemons are a highlight of any show they participate in. At the World Show, there were parallel shows for large, small, miniature, and toy breeds. poodle A variety of colors. On June 24, the RKF Championship took place, featuring Harlequins (white with black spots) and Phantoms (black with red markings). The toy poodle, Gently Born Chocolate Sweet, became the second world veteran among all breeds. Despite her advanced age, the little one retains her luxurious brown fur and graceful gait.

Poodle haircuts are true works of art. The Scandinavian Lion and Continental styles are considered show cuts.

The cheerful atmosphere of the exhibition

A large screen upstairs broadcasts from the main hall. Shows are taking place there. The exhibits pose for the cameras. But not all the animals enjoy it.

A tired Pekingese turns away from the photographer. Dog lovers crowd everywhere, watching the examination or buying pet supplies. The hall features stands from Ekanuba, Royal Canine, and Acana. Stylish apparel, brushes, and luxurious leashes are also on sale.

There's a trophy stand nearby. Unfortunately, not all the champion owners were able to find it quickly. In the center of the center stands a green slide decorated with glowing patterns. Visitors happily take photos next to it. A trio of bichons strolls nearby. The affectionate bears obey their owner and allow themselves to be petted.

Italians in Russia

Curly fur, medium height, cute face, button eyes. "What kind of breed is this?" viewers wonder. Here you have it. Lagotto RomagnoloThis is a new breed for our country. These handsome fellows were brought from Italy. Despite their southern origins, they love our winters.

One of the Lagotta breeders is located in Novosibirsk. The breed is known for its endurance and excellent sense of smell. They easily find mushrooms. The adorable Lagottas even wanted to play with their owner in the ring. However, competition is a serious matter.

English bulldogs have attracted everyone's attention

The judge had a difficult choice to make. There were eight dogs in the ring, each one incredibly beautiful. Both the dogs and their owners were nervous. Photojournalists captured the judges' every move.

First, the dogs ran around in a circle. Then they froze in position. The judge paced around them for a long time, hesitating to line them up. The spectators eagerly awaited the verdict. And finally, the decision was made.

The winner was a white and brown bulldog. The little fellow is distinguished by his English reserve and gentlemanly manners.

Tsar's dogs

Russian Borzoi They have become the symbol of the world exhibition. They are hard to miss. These noble dogs look stunning in the ring, attracting admiring glances. A greyhound trots gently past the judge, looking devotedly at its owner. And it takes first place for granted.

About the winner's breed

The best dog of the show was Fine Lady s Zolotogo Grada. Krasotka is a representative of the Russian Black Terrier breed, also known as Stalin's dog.

Black terriers are truly unique dogs. They can perform in shows, guard the house, and be excellent companions. The key is proper training. These are huge and powerful dogs. Black terriers are incredibly attached to their people. Therefore, they require a lot of attention.

The 2016 World Championships provided unforgettable experiences for participants and spectators, and confirmed the strong position of Russian dog breeding on the international stage.
