Dog enclosure
Dog kennels are becoming increasingly popular. While traditional dog houses were once preferred, kennels are now enjoying growing popularity. They provide excellent living conditions for four-legged pets, who desperately need ample space to play and run. And the larger the dog, the larger the kennel should be.
However, some people consider enclosures more of a whim than a norm. Let's try to figure out if this is actually true.
Disadvantages of dog houses
What does a dog get when it is always chained up and lives in a kennel?
- Lack of space for games and warm-ups;
- Attachment to one place;
- Injuries from collars and leashes.
When getting a dog, you need to provide it with excellent living conditions. But many people believe that a small kennel made from a few pieces of wood and a leash with a chain or belt is sufficient. Immobilized, the dog sits on a leash all day, unable to properly stretch its legs. Meanwhile, the owners themselves live in comfortable homes with air conditioning and television, with numerous spacious rooms and utility areas. Why should a person deserve good living conditions, but a dog should not?

Advantages of enclosures
What are the benefits of keeping a dog in a cage?
- Maximum mobility;
- Availability of space for games and warm-ups;
- Having your own space.
Of course, a dog's enclosure should also have a kennel, as a dog needs somewhere to rest and hide from prying eyes. In a kennel, a dog can move freely from corner to corner, play with a ball, run and jump, and maintain muscle tone. Will it be able to do all this while tethered? Of course not, as it would be confined. A dog needs a spacious enclosure, chosen based on the animal's size. If a dog owner keeps several dogs, kennels and leashes are out of the question – dogs need free space. Furthermore, a kennel will ensure the safety of guests temporarily staying in the yard. Kennels are by no means a luxury. On the contrary, they are vital structures for dogs, creating excellent conditions for activity and rest. Kennels and leashes, however, cannot provide adequate living conditions for four-legged friends.
