Vittri 1 – a complex for cats
Vittri-1 is a multivitamin preparation used to treat hypovitaminosis in cats, as well as related pathologies. It can also be used prophylactically. The medication was developed by the domestic manufacturer, Agrovetzashchita.
Content
Composition and release form
The vitamin complex comes in the form of drops for oral administration. The oily liquid has a yellowish tint and a distinctive aroma, similar to vegetable oil. This is due to the inclusion of vegetable oil as an excipient. This may be olive, corn, sunflower, canola, or other oils. Slight turbidity may be present.

The main components are fat-soluble vitamins A, D3, and E. Their ratios are carefully calculated and physiologically justified. 1 ml of the medicinal product contains:
- 15,000 IU vitamin A;
- 20,000 IU vitamin D3;
- 10 mg vitamin E.
The medicine is packaged in glass or polymer bottles, which come in various sizes.
Please note that the product is available in three different concentrations. Vittri-1 is suitable for cats, as it has the lowest concentration of vitamins and is easy to calculate the correct dosage. More concentrated versions are typically used for large farm animals.
Price
The cost of Vittri-1 for cats depends on the package size:
- a 20 ml bottle costs from 175 to 210 rubles;
- a 100 ml bottle costs from 200 to 230 rubles.
How it works and when it is used
A unique feature of this vitamin complex is that its components complement and enhance each other's effects. As a result, the product has the following effects on the animal's body:
- improves metabolism;
- initiates regeneration processes and accelerates wound healing;
- prevents visual impairment;
- promotes weight gain;
- normalizes the functioning of the reproductive system;
- promotes proper development of the skeletal system.

Vittri-1 is used to treat and prevent vitamin deficiencies A, D, and E, as well as the associated conditions. As an adjunctive therapy, the drug can be used for the following conditions:
- for damage to the skin of inflammatory and non-inflammatory nature;
- in case of toxic liver damage;
- with rickets;
- in case of disorders of the nervous system;
- for xerophthalmia and other vision diseases;
- in encephalomalacia;
- with osteomalacia;
- for catarrhal inflammation of the mucous membranes.
The vitamin complex is also recommended for cases where wounds or ulcers persist for a long time, as well as to improve the vitality of kittens. It increases the body's resistance to various diseases and promotes the proper development of the kittens' systems and organs.
Instructions for use
The medication is intended for oral use. Drops can be administered directly into the animal's mouth. If you don't want to cause discomfort or inconvenience to your pet (it's hard to find an animal that enjoys forced medication), you can choose another method.
Mix the drops with a small amount of food. Vittri-1 is compatible with natural and dry food, as well as canned food. It's best to choose your pet's favorite treat for administering the medication.

According to the instructions, Vittri-1 is given to cats prophylactically, 1-2 drops at a time, regardless of weight. If the medication is used for treatment, the dose is tripled. The medication should be administered daily for 2-3 months. When using the product for kittens, the dose should be halved.
According to the GOST classification, Vittri-1 is classified as a low-hazard substance. The product has no toxic, mutagenic, or other harmful effects, but a veterinarian consultation is required before use.
Features of application
To ensure effective use of the vitamin complex, please pay attention to the following recommendations:
- Follow the prescribed dosage. Avoid skipping doses, as this may affect the effectiveness of the medication.
- Make adjustments to your pet's diet to ensure it receives the necessary amount of minerals and water-soluble vitamins.
- Vittri-1 can be used in combination with other medications. The instructions do not indicate any incompatibility between the medications.
- After the expiration date, the medicine must be disposed of and cannot be used to treat animals.
- Additionally, if necessary, vitamin and mineral complexes can be used.
- Do not add medicine to hot food or heat it up.
Contraindications and side effects
Vittri-1 has no contraindications. It can be used on cats of all breeds and ages. It is also suitable for kittens and pregnant females, but a veterinarian consultation is necessary. The only contraindication is intolerance to the ingredients, which is rare, but the animal should be monitored closely during the first administration. If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue further use.

The vitamin complex does not cause side effects. For the drug to cause hypervitaminosis, the dosage would have to be exceeded several times. When taken at the recommended dose, the medication does not have any negative effects on the body.

Owner reviews
Marina, owner of a 5-month-old kitten:
"Our cat, Margot, started losing her hair, and her appetite had worsened. At the vet's appointment, I asked what it could be. She said it was a vitamin deficiency and recommended Vittri. It's a convenient form of medication. It can be added to any food, as long as it's not too hot. After the course, her fur became silky and smooth, and she stopped losing hair. It's an inexpensive but effective product."
Victoria, owner of a Maine Coon cat and three kittens:
"When our cat was pregnant, the vet recommended vitamins to maintain her health. After the kittens were born, we repeated the course for both mother and kittens. The vitamin complex helped them grow stronger and gain weight. They've become real beauties, so I think Vittri is an effective and easy-to-use vitamin complex."
Sergey, owner of a 2-year-old cat:
"When our cat Vaska started shedding heavily (hair was everywhere), we went for a checkup. It turned out to be a vitamin deficiency. We took a course of Vittri-1 and forgot about the problem. We applied drops of the medicine to his paws. He licked them off himself."
Veterinarian Reviews
Evgeniya Nikolaevna, a veterinarian with 14 years of experience:
"Vittri is a domestically produced vitamin complex (vitamins A, D, and E). It's sold as drops, which is convenient because you can add them to your pet's food. If feeding your pet tablets is difficult, this product is the best solution. I have no complaints about its effectiveness. It always helps relieve vitamin deficiencies."
Vadim, veterinarian:
"Although Vittri is inexpensive, its effectiveness is just as good as imported alternatives. The question arises: 'Why pay more?' I often prescribe it to kittens, weakened animals, pregnant females, and those with obvious signs of hypovitaminosis. Animals tolerate the vitamin complex well. I have never encountered any side effects."
