Instructions for use
Traumeel is most often used for dogs by injection. When administered intravenously, it provides rapid anti-shock, analgesic, and hemostatic effects, making it suitable for emergency use.
The product must be used as follows:
- The injection dosage is calculated based on the animal's weight: 0.1 ml per kilogram. The drug is also approved for use in puppies. A single dose is 0.5-2 ml. Injections are usually administered twice daily. The course of treatment lasts 5-10 days, but this can be adjusted upward or downward depending on the pet's condition.
- The tablets are given twice a day, 1-2 pieces, depending on the weight and age of the dog.
- The gel is used for topical treatment. It is applied in a thin layer to the affected area.
- During labor, the medication is administered once at the beginning of the process. If necessary, the medication is given again after 3-4 hours.
- If the puppies do not have a sucking reflex, they are given a few drops of the solution at 30-minute intervals until the body's functionality is restored.
Although Travmatin for dogs is affordable for every dog owner, it is important to carefully read the instructions before starting treatment. Use of the medication should be under the supervision of a physician.

Can be used in combination with medications of symptomatic or etiological action, vitamin complexes, antibiotics, and corticosteroids.
Skipping doses is not recommended, as this may reduce the therapeutic effect. If an injection is not administered on time, treatment should be resumed as soon as possible using the previously used regimen.
Side effects and contraindications
Travmatin is classified as a low-risk medication (Group IV) and is therefore approved for use in puppies, pregnant, and lactating female dogs. Reviews
Dog owners' reviews of Traumatine for dogs are mostly positive. However, sometimes owners report that it doesn't help their animals at all or doesn't produce the desired treatment results. This depends on the individual's individual characteristics, not the medication itself.

Svetlana:
"I've been using Traumeel for my pets for a long time. I live in a village and have my own small farm. But I really appreciated its effectiveness when my dog severely lacerated his paw on barbed wire. The vet stitched the wound and prescribed further treatment. In addition to antibiotics and compresses, she prescribed Traumeel. We administered it for three days, and then the village pharmacy ran out. The wound immediately became severely inflamed and swollen. When we resumed treatment, the dog quickly recovered. Over time, we forgot about the incident."
Oksana:
"I first bought it on the recommendation of a friend, an avid dog lover. I used it during my dog's labor and was pleased with the results. I also once had to use it on a newborn puppy who was very weak and lethargic. Now Travmatin is always in my medicine cabinet. It's a versatile and safe remedy for animals."

I unwittingly killed my dog with Traumatine. I was trying to relieve the pain of my 16-year-old daughter's lumbar coxarthrosis (she walked with difficulty, dragging both hind legs). I injected her into the withers as directed. Her condition suddenly worsened: she became short of breath, stopped eating and drinking, and her pupils dilated. She cried from the pain at night and couldn't sleep. It was only after she had to be euthanized that I realized the belladonna in Traumatine had disrupted gastrointestinal motility and caused a spasm of the gastric sphincter (causing the stomach to become overfilled with foreign contents, pressing on the diaphragm and causing severe shortness of breath, making it impossible to eat or drink). The dog was dying in agony, and I couldn't understand what was happening. Even the vets couldn't do anything except recommend euthanasia for humane reasons, so she wouldn't suffer like this. Yesterday, my whole family said goodbye to her. It was incredibly difficult. I will live with the guilt for the rest of my life for the death of a beloved creature who loved and trusted me. And I trusted the positive reviews about Traumatine. And I didn't just kill my dog; I made her suffer before her death, not understanding what was happening. Take care of your pets. Don't make my mistakes. Don't trust Traumatine.
