Pharmacological properties

Degenerative joint diseases often develop in dogs as they age. Large breeds and those with a genetic predisposition (e.g., Labradors, German Shepherds, etc.) are particularly susceptible. St. Bernards). This phenomenon is caused largely by animal activity, although other factors can also trigger joint pathologies:

  • unsuitable climatic conditions;
  • hypodynamia;
  • colds;
  • metabolic disorders;
  • lack of vitamins and minerals in the diet;
  • autoimmune diseases, etc.

Stride Plus is effectively used for both the prevention and treatment of joint problems, as its components have a positive effect on cartilage, connective, and bone tissue:

  1. Hyaluronic acid is the main component of synovial fluid. It increases cartilage elasticity, allowing it to withstand greater stress. It also reduces inflammation and provides pain relief.
  2. Chondroitin sulfate enhances the shock-absorbing properties of cartilage. It initiates the regeneration of the joint capsule, the cartilage located on the joint surface. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Chondroitin acts as a "building block" for bone tissue.
  3. Glucosamine helps increase GAG levels in joint tissue. These substances are involved in the process of cartilage regeneration. Glucosamine also has an anti-inflammatory effect and promotes the production of hyaluronate, a major component of synovial fluid.
  4. MSM is a source of sulfur, which is involved in the formation of connective tissue. It is a key component in collagen synthesis.
  5. Manganese improves the body's absorption of chondroitin and is also involved in lipid metabolism, osteogenesis, and promotes the growth of bone and cartilage tissue.

Owner reviews

Timur, the owner of the St. Bernard:

"My dog underwent three surgeries and was diagnosed with dysplasia. We took Stride Plus for a long time, so I can evaluate its effectiveness. At first, I was very apprehensive about giving it to him because I read online that it was harmful to his liver. So, I visited several veterinary clinics for consultations. All the doctors said that Stride Plus contains no ingredients that are dangerous for animals. The drug helped us (his dog has improved significantly). I haven't noticed any side effects or negative consequences."

Veronica, the owner of a Rottweiler:

"When I adopted a Rottweiler puppy from a shelter, I was thrilled, but after a month and a half, I noticed my beloved puppy started running like a 'bunny'. To be clear, the dog had been intensively trained. We didn't stop training, but on the advice of a veterinarian friend, we started giving her Stride Plus. Her condition improved significantly. At a year and a half, we were diagnosed with hip dysplasia. We now regularly give her a vitamin supplement, and she feels well, but we need to take it for life. I recommend it to all animals with joint problems."

Veterinarian Reviews

Sergey, a veterinarian with 8 years of experience:

"I recommend using Stride Plus not only for treatment but also for prevention, especially for dogs that undergo constant training. The main difference between this product and domestic chondroprotectors is that it contains hyaluronic acid. It is involved in the synthesis of synovial fluid, which prevents friction and wear in joints during movement. And although the price of this product is higher than that of domestic products, it is completely worth it."

Victoria, veterinarian:

"I've repeatedly come across reviews about the dangers of Stride Plus for animals. Surprisingly, these are usually written by people who haven't used the product. In fact, the ingredients do not contain any substances that would negatively affect the liver, gastrointestinal tract, or other organs. The product is safe and can be used for adults and puppies."
