Content
Composition and release form
Stride Plus is a bioactive supplement whose main active ingredients are glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid. Additional and supporting ingredients include an amino acid complex, fiber, MSM (a source of bioavailable sulfur necessary for connective tissue synthesis), collagen, sodium, an emulsifier, and a colorant.
Stride Plus for cats is available as a solution packaged in plastic bottles with a dispenser. Each bottle is housed in a cardboard box and comes with instructions for use. A 150 ml bottle costs approximately 1,800 rubles in Moscow, a 160 ml bottle starts at 2,000 rubles, and a 210 ml bottle costs 2,700-2,800 rubles. The product should be stored in a cool place and has a shelf life of 2 years.
Effect of chondroprotector Stride Plus
Each of the active components of the drug has its own positive effect on joints:
- Chondroitin is a polysaccharide that is the main component of joint cartilage and stimulates the production of synovial fluid. A deficiency of this substance causes degenerative processes in joints: cartilage thins, becomes dehydrated, and joints become less mobile.
- Glucosamine is an amino sugar that participates in the construction of all types of cartilage tissue: hyaline, elastic and fibrous.
- Hyaluronic acid is a component of synovial fluid. It hydrates cartilage, improves its elasticity, and helps reduce pain and inflammation.
- Amino acids are biologically active substances that perform restorative and building functions in the body and have a positive effect on metabolic processes.
The combined synergistic (mutually enhancing) action of the dietary supplement's components actively stimulates the regeneration processes of cartilage and tendon tissue, preventing or inhibiting the development of degenerative changes.
Indications for use, dosage
Stride Plus is used as a means of therapy and prevention of pathological changes in joints.

As a medicinal product, chondroprotector is prescribed to cats for:
- arthritis (inflammation of the joints);
- arthrosis, osteoarthrosis (degenerative changes in bone structure);
- hydrarthrosis (an increase in the size of the joint due to the accumulation of fluid in it);
- osteochondrosis (degenerative-dystrophic disease of the spine);
- bursitis (inflammation of the synovial bursa of the joint);
- tendinopathies (inflammation of the tendon);
- injuries of ligaments and joints.
As a preventative measure, Stride Plus is recommended for cats whose joints are subject to intense stress (large breeds or those leading an active lifestyle), as well as for representatives of breeds with a genetic predisposition to diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
According to the instructions, Stride Plus is given to cats once daily. The daily dose is independent of age, breed, or body weight. During the first month, 4 ml of the chondroprotector solution is used daily (this amount corresponds to pressing the dispenser twice). During the second month, the dose is halved. The standard course of treatment is 2 to 3 months.

It is recommended to give cats a chondroprotector solution with food: despite the fact that this drug has neither a specific taste nor an unpleasant odor, animals often refuse to take it in its pure form.
Side effects, contraindications
Complications and side effects with Stride Plus are rare. With prolonged use, cats may experience dry mouth, watery eyes, loss of appetite, and drowsiness. To resolve these reactions, simply discontinue use of the chondroprotector.
Stride Plus has minimal contraindications. A relative contraindication is the presence of gastrointestinal pathologies in animals; in such cases, the product should only be used after prior consultation with a specialist. An absolute contraindication is an individual intolerance to the components, which in cats usually manifests as an acute allergic reaction.

Reviews
Liliya Romanovna Storozhenko, veterinarian
"I consider the new-generation dietary supplement Stride Plus to be one of the best. Chondroprotectors require long-term use, several months, but positive results from Stride Plus are noticeable after just 1 to 1.5 weeks. This medication is effective in both the early stages of degenerative joint disease and in cases of significant damage. However, as a rule, in advanced cases, I also prescribe anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medications for my cats. The only drawback of Stride Plus is its relatively high cost. This prompts some cat owners to purchase cheaper, domestically or imported alternatives for their pets."
Natalia, Pskov
"I used Stride Plus to treat my cat. His joints were severely inflamed and painful, he could barely walk, and he wouldn't let anyone touch his hind legs. The vet diagnosed acute arthritis and prescribed nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, and the Irish chondroprotector Stride Plus. This comprehensive treatment got my pet back on his feet quite quickly, in less than two months. I believe the chondroprotector is largely responsible for this, as its ingredients promote cartilage restoration."
Ivanna, Suzdal
"A few months ago, our beloved, elderly cat Lisa started limping on her hind legs, and it became difficult for her to climb onto the sofa or up the stairs. The veterinarian recommended a two-month course of chondroprotective treatment. He said the best one was Stride Plus. It turned out to be quite expensive, but we bought it and started mixing it into her food. It's only been three weeks, but it's already clearly working! Our Lisa is walking almost normally, without limping, and no longer avoids every movement. We will continue the treatment."
