Vera is a dog on two legs

Nowadays, there's nothing surprising about it. Thanks to the internet, we receive a huge stream of news every day, often featuring gripping stories about people with disabilities who have not only overcome their illnesses but also achieved much more than millions of healthy people.

The story of a miracle

But today we won’t talk about people; I want to tell you a story about a two-legged dog from America named Vera.

Vera was born in 2002. Jude Stringfellow, her owner—her mother, one might say—took the puppy from a friend's dog when it tried to strangle her, apparently recognizing the inferiority of her offspring. The puppy was born with three legs, but one was so deformed and malformed that it had to be amputated.

An amazing story about a dog on two legs.

When the Stringfellow family took the puppy to the veterinarian, he suggested euthanizing him to spare him and themselves the pain, but they couldn't agree. From then on, Jude and her son began training the puppy, teaching Vera to walk on two hind legs, and rewarding her with spoonfuls of peanut butter for even the smallest steps. Then, in 2003, a miracle occurred, and the people who once believed they could give life to a dog with disabilities witnessed the miracle. Vera began to confidently walk on two legs.

Two legs, a dog, a miracle, an interesting story

The Road to Success

Vera is a truly amazing dog, full of kindness and warmth, and she brings hope to people with disabilities. Vera has become a true star, a regular guest on various television shows and even on a charity tour with Ozzy Osbourne himself. She can often be found in military hospitals and regular clinics, where this boundlessly positive dog, wagging her tail and barking, brings joy to others like her.

Vera the dog, a two-legged dog, a disabled dog

Unlike the cowardly and lazy Scooby Doo portrayed in films and cartoons, Vera is a fearless dog who has overcome all challenges and now helps others overcome them. The only thing they have in common is probably a love of peanut butter, as only peanut butter can drive Scooby to even the most daring and desperate actions.

It seems like we could endlessly talk beautiful words about Faith, but it's better to act, live, be inspired by such animals and people, and inspire others. And remember, the most important thing in any situation is to believe!
