Imagine the singer's surprise when, on the eve of his twenty-second birthday, he received an adorable six-month-old puppy as a gift. Welsh Corgi Pembroke, which was brought from Austria specifically for the star. Katerina's husband is a breeder of this breed, so she is well acquainted with the dogs' personality traits. The producer was confident that Vorobyov and this four-legged little one would become friends. And so it turned out.

Alexey is a longtime fan of Elvis Presley. So it's no surprise that his furry friend was named after the King of Rock 'n' Roll. It's worth noting, however, that the name wasn't coined by the actor, but by the puppy's donor. Vorobyov himself calls his pet Elvis-Melvis.

The singer is convinced that the dog is his lucky charm. He even plans to obtain permission from the relevant authorities to enter Ostankino with Elvis. Furthermore, the singer regularly posts photos with the dog on his social media pages, to the delight of his female fans. Elvis also has his own Instagram account and a VK group, created, according to the star, by his fans.

Alexey Vorobyov's dog breed was developed in Pembroke, a province of England. Its ancestors are ancient Icelandic dogsWelsh Corgis are members of the shepherd family and were originally bred for herding. An adult dog stands no more than 30 cm at the withers. The average lifespan is 12 to 15 years.

Welsh Corgis are currently considered the family dog of the British royal couple.
