Give your dog a second chance!

This is the sixth time the charity event, symbolically titled "Home!", has been held. It will take place on April 25, 2015, at 18 Perevedenovsky Lane, Moscow. The event will run from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Give her a home and your love

Look at how many lonely animals roam the streets. Most of them will die. Some from infections and lack of treatment, others from hunger, others from the cold, others from accidents, and still others will fall victim to animal abusers. And why? Because irresponsible people abandon dogs after playing with a cute little puppy. A few are lost. But most are mercilessly dumped on the streets, and then they multiply at an incredible rate.

But it is in your power to help some of them. Yes, volunteers take on temporary shelter Several pets at a time are being looked for new homes. But this is extremely difficult. That's why such events are organized to give dogs a new home with loving owners.

Pros:

It is impossible to buy such a loyal friend

You will get the animal absolutely free!

If you're getting a purebred dog, you'll be shelling out a pretty penny. But the animals are free at the promotion!

All dogs are prepared.

Deworming, spaying/neutering, and vaccination have been performed. A veterinarian's certificate confirms the animal is completely healthy. Furthermore, dogs that have spent some time wandering and survived develop strong immunity to many infectious diseases. Therefore, they are healthier in the future and are much less likely to get sick. And if they do get sick, their immune system fights it off more quickly. Purebred dogs, on the other hand, must first be vaccinated, then revaccinated again. The purer the breed, the more susceptible the pet will be to diseases. Some dogs have low resistance to diseases altogether. For example, German shepherds are more likely than others to die from distemper. Therefore, they need to be revaccinated ANNUALLY! Meanwhile, dogs from shelters have already developed strong immunity to the pathogen.

They need your love and affection so much!

Shelter dogs are not picky eaters.

They're happy with any scrap of bread. All they need is a warm place and a loving family. They're accustomed to terrible conditions. Therefore, these dogs will become the most devoted friends. For the chance you give them, they'll shower you with love you couldn't even dream of. Compared to purebred dogs, for which many people pay huge sums, these animals are often very picky eaters. They require specialized food, regular supplements, and additional grooming products.

Predisposition to diseases in purebred dogs.

And we must not forget that many purebred dogs are predisposed to a wide variety of diseases: gastritis, enteritis, urolithiasis, and much more. It's long been known that "mongrel terriers" are the healthiest animals; nothing scares them. And they eat everything without being picky. But even shelter dogs need to be fed properly to ensure they bring you joy for longer.

Cons:

They feel so bad on the streets! Most often, adult animals are given away at promotions.

Many people fear that it's impossible to rehabilitate a dog, that they were thrown out because of a bad temper or disgusting habits. But this is far from true. Both adults and puppies will be on display at the "Back Home" event. Animals spend many days in foster homes, and volunteers are dedicated to raising their charges.

Animals without pedigree.

Many people think that if they don't have a purebred dog, it's not "fashionable." It's not always just mongrel pets that end up on the streets. Often, animals that are practically indistinguishable from those of "pure blood" end up there. With a little affection and warmth, your pet will be more beautiful than all those that win prizes at shows. And what piece of paper can replace the devotion and affection you'll receive in return? A dog without a title almost always loves its owner wholeheartedly and sincerely.

What will be required from potential owners?

A passport and a leash with a collar. The passport is required so volunteers can draw up a pet transfer agreement. This will ensure your commitment is genuine.

They need you!

You don't have to pay anything! Donating an animal is completely free (as Owl said in the cartoon: "That is, for nothing").

If you can't adopt an animal, you can still help the volunteers. Anyone can bring food and grain to special collection points. Just think about it: Moscow shelters house over 50,000 homeless dogs! Even your small contribution can save the lives of several animals.
