General description
The antiparasitic medication is available as drops, collars, and a spray. All forms are intended for external use, so avoid ingesting it. This can cause poisoning. A variety of dosage forms allows you to choose the best option for your pet, taking into account the problem, your goals, and your pet's individual characteristics.

Drops on the withers
Rolf Club 3D drops for cats are a solution packaged in disposable polymer pipettes. The pipettes are available in 0.4 and 0.8 ml sizes and are suitable for cats of various weights (up to 4 kg and over 4 kg). The pre-packaged packaging makes dosing easy. The solution is transparent and appears as a yellow oily liquid. It usually has no strong odor.

Spray
This clear, yellow liquid is packaged in bottles of varying capacities: 100, 150, and 200 ml. Each bottle is equipped with a spray head, which allows for even application of the medicinal solution to the animal and simplifies dosing.

Collar
Rolf Club collars for cats are available as 35 cm long polymer straps. They are equipped with a clasp that ensures the collar stays in place at the desired distance. Each collar is packaged in a sealed plastic bag and then in a cardboard box. Open the sealed packaging immediately before use, otherwise the active ingredients will partially evaporate, affecting the effectiveness of the product.

Important! Rolf Club collars for cats are available in two versions: triple protection against ectoparasites and a universal solution for external and internal parasites. The difference lies in the composition. Collars containing Ivermectin can also provide protection against worms.
How it works
Rolf Club is effective against many external parasites. It also works at all stages of development. It also provides protection against mosquitoes and midges, preventing the development of infectious diseases they transmit. Its spectrum of action is due to a combination of three active ingredients:
- Fipronil It interferes with the transmission of nerve impulses to adult parasites. This disruption of the nervous system results in paralysis. This causes the parasites to lose the ability to move and feed, leading to their death.
- Pyriproxyfen It affects pupae and larvae. Due to disruptions in metabolic processes, this substance stops their development and the transition to sexual maturity.
- Etofenprox Provides a 2-minute knockdown against insects. Fleas and ticks are killed upon contact with the animal's fur, before they can bite. The substance also repels mosquitoes.
The key feature of this antiparasitic medication is that its active ingredients do not enter the bloodstream, but accumulate in the hair, skin, and sebaceous glands. This ensures long-lasting and effective action.
The Ivermectin collar works differently. It provides protection to the animal from parasites both externally and internally, as the active ingredient is distributed through the bloodstream to all tissues and organs.

Please note! Rolf Club contains toxic substances. Avoid contact with certain species, particularly bees and fish.
In what cases is it used?
According to the instructions, Rolf Club 3D drops and other forms of release are effectively used to kill arthropods and insects that parasitize cats:
- fleas;
- lice;
- ixodid ticks;
- otodectosis mites;
- scabies mites.
It's also excellent for preventative care. It prevents tick bites and other parasites that can cause serious health problems. The medication also protects against mosquitoes and other flying insects.
Ivermectin collars are also effective against roundworms, but they are used more for prevention than treatment. If worms are detected, a broad-spectrum anthelmintic should be used.
Price
The price of Rolf Club for cats varies primarily depending on the dosage form. If drops are chosen for treatment, the pipette will cost 150-250 rubles, depending on its capacity. A collar will cost 200-250 rubles, and the spray up to 450 rubles, but it usually lasts for several treatments. The medication is sold at veterinary pharmacies and is available without a prescription.
Features of application and use of drops
Rolf Club 3D drops are applied to the cat's withers as a spot-on. The animal should not lick the solution. The drops should only be applied to dry skin free of wounds, scratches, or other damage. The dosage is calculated as follows:
- 0.4 ml – if the pet’s weight does not exceed 4 kg;
- 0.8 ml – for weight from 4 to 8 kg.

When purchasing medication, ensure you purchase pipettes of the appropriate capacity. Depending on the specific condition, the antiparasitic medication is used according to the following guidelines:
- If ticks are present, apply one drop of the solution to the parasite. It will fall off on its own within 15-20 minutes. If this doesn't happen, carefully remove it with tweezers and destroy it.
- At scabiesFor mite-induced infestations, apply the medication to the affected area and spread it gently over the entire surface. Be sure to include a small patch of healthy skin around the edges to prevent the mites from spreading. Repeat the treatment 2-4 times, spaced 7-10 days apart. The cat should be prevented from licking the medication, so a neck collar should be used.
- For otodectosis, Rolf Club should be administered 1-3 drops in both ears. If necessary, repeat the procedure several times every 5-7 days.
- For prevention, the medication is applied once every 1-2 months, depending on the risk of infection. If your pet doesn't spend time outdoors, the medication can be applied less frequently.
How to use the spray
Overall, the spray is easy to use, especially if your pet is calm and doesn't try to escape during treatment. Spray the medication all over the animal's body, but be careful not to get it in its eyes.
Dosing the spray is easy. One spray typically equals 1 ml of solution, but be sure to check the packaging or instructions for exact dosage. The dosage depends on your weight – 1 ml per kilogram. Follow simple safety precautions when applying the spray, and it's generally best to do this outdoors.
Using the collar
The Rolf Club collar is easy and convenient to use on cats. Place the polymer strap around your cat, leaving a small amount of space between it and the neck. Trim off any excess collar to prevent overuse.
The collar lasts for 2-4 months, but it's typically used as a preventative measure. If you're planning a trip to the countryside or another location where the risk of contracting external parasites is high, the collar should be placed on your pet a few days beforehand.
When banned
You should not use Rolf Club for cats in the following cases:
- for diseases caused by infections;
- when carrying offspring;
- during lactation;
- in case of exhaustion due to starvation, poor nutrition or problems with digestion;
- in case of intolerance.
Antiparasitic medications can only be used on healthy animals. The collar is approved for use on kittens 2 months and older, while the spray and drops are approved for use on kittens 3 months and older.

In case of intolerance or overdose, the following side effects may occur:
- lethargy and depression;
- lack of appetite;
- vomiting and nausea;
- increased saliva production;
- muscle tremors;
- impaired coordination of movements, etc.
Local reactions such as itching or redness are also possible. If your pet exhibits these symptoms, it should be bathed, possibly with shampoo.
Owner reviews
Anastasia, owner of a cat and a female cat:
"We've been using Rolf for years. Everything was great, but after the last treatment, my cat's fur fell out where the drops were applied. She also didn't take the treatment well; she scratched herself for several days, trying to reach her withers. She was very disappointed; we'll have to look for something else."
Maria, owner of a dog and a cat:
"I know that parasite bites can be deadly for pets. Our cat often wanders around the neighborhood and catches mice, so we regularly protect both him and our Staffordshire Terrier from fleas and ticks. We use Rolf Club spray. It's an excellent product, doesn't have a strong or unpleasant odor, and the price is quite reasonable. My animals tolerate it without any problems. I use it once a month."
Veterinarian Reviews
Anna, a veterinarian from a clinic in St. Petersburg:
"Recently, I've seen an increase in complaints from owners about Rolf. There are many cases of intolerance, poisoning, and even chemical burns at the site of application. Side effects are especially common after using the drops. The product used to be fine, but now I don't recommend using it."
Evgeny, a veterinarian with 7 years of experience and a volunteer:
"I've been using this medication in my practice for a long time, including for the pets I have at home. It's effective. Side effects are rare, but they do occur, as with other antiparasitic medications. There are now many counterfeit products on the market, due to the medication's widespread popularity. At the same time, people are increasingly releasing negative reviews about the medication. I think there's a connection."
