Cat Hotel
The problem of where to take a pet during a vacation or business trip worries cat owners all over the world. Pet hotels are coming to the rescue. One such hotel is located in Uruguay and is called Yellow. The five-star hotel's staff strives to shower every furry "client" with love.

How the hotel was conceived
The hotel's founder, Virginia Gomez, was looking for a boarding facility for her pets but couldn't find one suitable. So she came up with the idea for her own cat hotel.
Luxurious living conditions
The purring guests eat premium dry food and drink purified water. To keep the kitties entertained, the hotel has toys, bridges, steps, and shelves. These handy exercise equipment also allows the whiskered cats to practice their acrobatic skills. Some guests play or interact with each other.

Check-in
Murka must be vaccinated and neutered. Before moving in, the owner must deworm the cat, check for veterinary documentation, and provide flea treatment.
The owners are calm about their pet.
A caring owner often worries when leaving their pet in a boarding facility. The boarding facility provides owners with a detailed report on their pet's condition.

"They check on the cat's well-being via social media or email," says Virginia. A night at the boarding house costs $400. Veterinary services are partially covered. "We usually ask for the client's personal veterinarian's phone number. But there are emergency cases. Then we call our vet, with the consent of the sick cat's owner," explains Gomez.
Individual approach to guests
The hotel can accommodate 25 pets. The staff is very gentle with the cats. "We understand the moods, feelings, and desires of our residents," the manager emphasizes. She knows all the residents by name and adores them.

World class
Cats from Argentina, the USA, Italy, France, Japan, Singapore, and the Persian Gulf live here. They are brought by foreigners visiting Uruguay. Yellow also has VIP clients. Camila Sanchez always brings her beloved cat, Phoebe, here when she's away for a long time. She's happy to have found a wonderful cat boarding facility.
The warm atmosphere of the hotel will help the cat survive the temporary separation from her family and make new friends.
