Internet users can donate funds for the Pooch Selfie's production through Kickstarter. The device is manufactured by Clever Dog Products.

I'd like to tell you a little about the history of the device. The creator, Jason Hernandez, wanted to take beautiful photos of his dog for social media, but his dog didn't like posing. To find a solution, Hernandez scoured the internet, but the results were zero. Watching his dog play with a ball, he decided to create Pooch Selfie.

The device conveniently attaches to a smartphone or tablet. The ball can be easily removed from the holder to attract your dog before taking a photo. If the dog doesn't pay attention to the ball, it can be used as a squeaker.
