Nucleopeptide for dogs

Nucleopeptide is a veterinary biopharmaceutical based on animal-derived ingredients. This new-generation immunostimulant contains biologically active components that not only boost pets' immunity but also stimulate growth and development and restore metabolism. It is manufactured by the Russian company Ecokhimtekh.

Distinctive features

Nucleopeptide is based on bovine spleen extract, which contains various biologically active substances. The spleen is an organ of the immune system. The substances it contains, particularly nucleotides, participate in the formation of nucleic acids, which make up the body's DNA. Peptides act as a kind of "building block," stimulating animal growth and development and participating in many metabolic processes.

The medication appears as an opaque liquid, light or dark brown in color. During prolonged storage, a sediment may form at the bottom, which is easily dispersed by shaking the package. The liquid is packaged in dark or clear glass bottles sealed with rubber stoppers. The manufacturer produces bottles of various sizes: 5, 10, 100, and 200 ml. For dogs, the medication is typically purchased in smaller bottles. Larger bottles are intended for cattle. However, purchasing a 100 ml bottle may be justified if you have a large number of dogs, such as in a kennel.

Please note: The liquid may foam when shaking the bottle, but this is considered normal.

How it works

The natural ingredients included in the preparation have a complex effect on the body:

  • boost immunity;
  • stimulate growth and development;
  • have an antitoxic effect on the liver;
  • restore hormonal balance;
  • improve the condition of the coat and skin;
  • promote weight gain;
  • improve metabolism.

Stimulating metabolic processes promotes weight gain, proper development, and improved coat appearance. Normalizing metabolism, particularly that of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, ensures that animals receive maximum benefit from their food. The medication also helps animals recover more quickly from injuries, surgeries, stress, and severe chronic diseases.

The biostimulant contains only safe, natural ingredients, making it a low-hazard substance in terms of its impact on the body. It contains no toxic chemicals. It is non-addictive and non-irritating, and does not accumulate in the dog's body.

Price

The price of Nucleopeptide may vary depending on the bottle size. A 5 ml bottle costs an average of 120 rubles, while a pack of five 10 ml bottles costs 770-800 rubles. Larger 100 ml bottles are cheaper—around 300 rubles—but purchasing them for treating one or two animals is impractical, as the medication cannot be stored for more than 24 hours after opening.

Indications for use

The unique feature of Nucleopeptide is that it can be used prophylactically (to prevent disease) or therapeutically (usually in combination with other medications). The biostimulant is recommended for:

  • to improve immunity;
  • to gain muscle mass;
  • in case of growth or developmental delays;
  • during prolonged molting;
  • in case of toxicosis during pregnancy;
  • in cases of intoxication.

Also, the biostimulant is often prescribed in complex therapy for treatment of eczema, fistulas, furunculosis, otitis and other chronic diseases. The medication is also used as an adjunct treatment for blood parasitic diseases. The drug's components promote the rapid breakdown of hemoglobin in the liver and the removal of toxic substances from the body.

Many dog owners use Nucleopeptid before shows and competitions. This bio-product helps build muscle mass and improves the coat, making it thicker and shinier.

Owner reviews

Alina, owner of an American Bulldog:

"When we participated in the show, we were deducted a point for being too thin, even though the bitch had a good appetite and was very active. There were no health issues. On the doctor's advice, I started Nucleopeptid injections every 15 days to achieve the desired condition. The first results were noticeable within two weeks, but four injections were needed to achieve the desired effect. The product also helped Lucy recover after giving birth and nursing a large litter. I also successfully used the product on puppies that were lagging behind in their development. However, they weren't given injections, but were given water. It's an excellent product for pets."

Nikolay, German Shepherd breeder:

"When the young bitch refused to nurse her puppies, we had to switch them to formula early. For some of the puppies, this transition was a shock. Digestive issues led to poor growth. Once digestion was restored, we started giving the puppies Nucleopeptid. The results are clear: smooth, thick, and shiny fur, excellent appetite, and noticeable growth. I'm pleased with the results."

Veterinarian Reviews

Irina Borisovna, a veterinarian with 12 years of experience:

"I don't use Nucleopeptid in my practice, but I know from my colleagues' experience that it's a good product. Its effectiveness has been clinically confirmed through testing conducted by the manufacturer. In any case, the medication won't harm the animal, as it contains no chemical components."

Anton, a veterinarian with 7 years of experience:

"An excellent biostimulant from a Russian manufacturer. I often recommend using it before shows and to boost immunity. I've personally found that it's a real lifesaver for puppies lagging in development or growth. Just one course over a few days and the problem is solved."
