DIY Dog Head Mask

Paper

The sequence of work is as follows:

1. Print out the sample and carefully cut it out with scissors.
2. Place all the elements on paper, trace the outlines with a pencil and cut out.
3. Glue the parts together.
4. Make holes for the eyes using a sharp knife.
5. Make eyes, nose, tongue, eyelashes from colored paper.
6. Carefully glue the listed parts or secure them with a stapler.
7. Use an awl or a sharp knife to make holes on the sides for the elastic.
8. Insert an elastic band or rope and secure it.

Felt

1. The printed template must be placed on brown or black felt, traced with chalk to mark the areas for the eyes, and cut out.
2. Separately, you need to prepare the ear pieces, the mustache section, and the nose. For these, you'll need pieces of black and light-colored material.
3. Once the blanks are made, the main blank needs to be finished with two decorative stitches along the entire edge and around the eye sockets.
4. Now you need to glue the ear pieces and the mustache element onto the stitched base.
5. The black nose is glued to a light-colored piece of felt in the center and decorated with black beads on each side. This example has three on each side.
6. Once the mask is assembled, it needs to be placed under pressure for 2-3 hours so that all the parts are securely held together.
7. The final step is to sew elastic bands or rope fasteners onto the sides.

Plastic plates

Unique accessories for carnivals and New Year's parties can be created from unexpected items. You can make a unique dog mask yourself using disposable plastic utensils.

To make it you will need:

• Disposable plate.
• Cardboard.
• Colored marker or felt-tip pen.
• Watercolor paints.
• Wooden stick or rubber band.

First, the white plate needs to be tinted gray or brown. Watercolors are used for this.

While they're drying, cut out the ears, forelock, nose, and eyebrows from cardboard and paint them in the appropriate colors. Experimentation is encouraged—a dog with an orange or green forelock will look bold and unusual.

Then holes for the eyes are cut in the base and the cut out and painted elements are glued on.

All that's left to do is attach a wooden stick to the bottom for easy holding of the mask. A rubber band can be used instead.
