Kuzya is a cat litter
Arkada has been producing Kuzya cat litter for 20 years. It's sold throughout Russia due to its affordable price and high quality. Only natural ingredients and no chemicals are used in its production, ensuring your pet's health is protected. The company offers several product options for cats with different needs.

Types and prices
"Kuzya," like other cat litters, serves one purpose: absorbing moisture and masking odor. However, it does this in different ways depending on the specific variety. TM "Arkada" produces three types of litter:
- For adult cats. Like the next option for small pets, it is made of opoka, a siliceous sedimentary rock. The litter for adult cats uses larger pebbles. This variety is well suited for animals with long hair. The granules won't stick to the fur or get caught in the pet's paws. Mineral litter can be sprinkled on top and under the grate of the litter box. Some find this more convenient. A 4.5-liter package costs approximately 110 rubles. This is one of the cheapest litters available on the Russian market. Arkada products are available in both brick-and-mortar stores and online.
- "Kuzya" for kittens, as well as for short-haired and small breed cats. This is also a mineral filler made from opoka, but with small pebbles. The price of "Kuzi" for kittens is about 110 rubles for 4.5 liters.
- Woody. This litter is made from sawdust pellets. It doesn't contain any fragrances, so you'll only smell the sawdust. According to the manufacturer, the product is carefully screened to ensure no debris or dust is found in the packaging. The pellets are all approximately the same size. This wood litter costs about 120 rubles per 4.5-liter (1.5 kg) package.

The official Kuzya website states that all raw materials undergo heat treatment and cleaning, during which excess particles and dust are removed.
What to choose
Wood filler It's quite economical, has a pleasant sawdust scent, absorbs moisture well, and is flushable. It's also safe for your cat to eat a few pellets.
But since wood can't hold the smell of cat urine for long, swollen pellets must be removed promptly, otherwise the litter box will smell unpleasant. Another caveat: lightweight wood litter often scatters far beyond the litter box when the cat buries its "business."
Mineral fillers They eliminate unpleasant odors better than wood-based litter. They quickly stick together when wet, reducing spillage outside the litter box. Cats generally prefer these litters because they create a natural environment. Cats actively dig in this "sand," so it's best used in litter boxes with high sides.
There is also another one silica gel filler for cats. Read on our website about what It's better to choose a filler.

A relative disadvantage is that the granules cannot be flushed down the toilet.
Reviews of the "Kuzya" litter
Ivan, Irkutsk:
"I was initially drawn to Kuzya mineral cat litter because of its great price. It later turned out to be a truly excellent product. The granules are dust-free, don't crumble, and absorb odor well. I also like the packaging. It's very sturdy—it won't tear easily, and the handles are comfortable."
Diana, Ufa:
"Kuzya" is a good, affordable litter option that will eliminate unpleasant odors in your home. Large pebbles don't fall under the mesh, and cats enjoy digging in them. Unlike sawdust, the pebbles don't stick to your cat's paws and don't spread throughout the house.
Irina, Kazan:
"I use Kuzya wood litter for both my cat and my rabbits. I put it in a fairly thick layer and it lasts for about five days."
Larisa Anatolyevna, Moscow:
"I used to buy Fresh Step litter for my cat, but it never lasted long, so I decided to look for a more economical option. We tried a lot of brands: sometimes it didn't absorb well, sometimes it smelled, and sometimes it didn't. Then I came across Kuzya for Kittens. It was perfect, and the price was right. We bought Kuzya for Cats once, but it wasn't the same. The pellets were so huge, they looked like boulders. That's why we always use the kitten version."
