How to make an origami dog out of paper
Doing something together with your child is a great alternative to cartoons and tablets. Psychologists recommend folding paper origami. It's beneficial for both adults and children. For little ones, it's a wonderful exercise for developing motor skills, perseverance, imagination, and spatial thinking. Adults, folding various figures, calm their nerves and relax. A simple craft—a paper dog—can entertain and calm a child after a noisy game.

How to make an origami dog out of paper
Origami comes in several forms: modular, simple, wet-fold, and pattern-folding. While the last two are suitable for advanced users, the first two are safe to try with a child.

Any diagram is presented as a system of symbols, so a novice maker must first learn to "read" the drawing. A simple modular origami assembly diagram clearly demonstrates the basic symbols:

Funny puppy
Even a child can make such a dog out of paper with their own hands. Simple origami dog diagram for children will help him with this.

Fold a square sheet of paper in half diagonally, as shown in Figure 1. Then fold the folded sheet in half again (Figure 2). Don't crease the fold; this is only to mark the center and where the dog's muzzle will be. This will make it easier to make it symmetrical.
Let's make the ears. To do this, bend the top corners of the resulting triangle downward. Let your child use their imagination. The ears can be bent further and made long, like a spaniel's, or left small and protruding, like a mischievous Yorkshire Terrier's.
To finish forming the muzzle, fold the bottom corner of the triangle upward, as shown in Figure 4. Next, use a marker or pencil to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth. The dog is ready.
To make the dog's body, take a square sheet of paper, fold it in half as before, and fold the bottom corner up slightly on one side. This will be the tail. Now, grab some glue and attach the head to the body. From there, you can play with the craft however you like.

You can also bend the bottom corner to create a dog with an open mouth.

Bulldog
To keep your puppy from getting bored alone, we offer a diagram on how to make a bulldog out of paper.

Funny dog
For this craft, you'll need a square sheet of paper, patience, and a good mood. Take the sheet and fold its corners to form an envelope, as shown in the picture.

One corner needs to be left folded back, and then the craft should be turned downwards. Then the edges are folded up toward the center, wrapping around the corners of the envelope.

Fold the top of the piece back as shown. Fold the top corner outward to create a crease. Then turn the piece face down.

Fold as shown in the picture:

Now we'll form the head. To do this, turn the long part of the craft inside out. Fold the corner of the main part upward to form the dog's tail. Form the nose. The dog is ready.

Tip: If you don't get it right the first time, don't worry. The key to origami is precision. All folds must be made as carefully as possible.
