The international exhibition Interzoo took place in Germany. It is considered the largest event in the pet industry. Global manufacturers showcased their products there, and pet owners purchased healthy food, beautiful accessories, and fun toys for their pets.

Participants

Around forty thousand companies from various countries participated in the fair. They showcased new products and current trends that ensure the quality of life for pets. The largest number of participants came from Germany, China, and Italy. Slightly smaller numbers of companies represented the United States, the Netherlands, England, and France. Newcomers to the exhibition included Guinea, Croatia, San Marino, Serbia, and Cyprus.

Exhibition know-how

Sure Flap has unveiled a curious development: the "Haustirklappen" device.

The device is designed for cats and small dogs. It works through a chip implanted in pets by veterinarians. The gadget prevents other animals from entering your home. It can also feed your pet if the owner is not around. The device recognizes when a hungry animal approaches a closed bowl and opens it.

"We discovered that cat owners throw away one-third of their cat food because it spoils. This inspired us to create this invention," the developers explain.

Many Germans love animals.

Among pet birds, budgerigars are the most common. Germans also enjoy pond and aquarium fish (3 million). Reptile lovers also exist. Seven hundred thousand snakes, turtles, and lizards live in Germany.

The wonderful exhibition attracted thousands of guests from all over the world. Visitors admired the exhibits with delight.
