Release form
Helavit is available as a solution for oral use and injection. In both cases, it is a brown or greenish-brown, clear, odorless liquid. The sterile injection solution is packaged in 10 and 100 ml glass vials sealed with rubber stoppers.

The solution, intended for internal use, is packaged in 40 and 70 ml polymer bottles. Their main advantage is that they come with a dropper, making it much easier to measure out the required amount of medication.
There are no special storage conditions for the mineral complex. It is important that the solution not freeze or become too hot. The air temperature should be between 4 and 30˚C. Although the product is non-toxic and safe, it should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
Please note! Once opened, the injection solution is only suitable for use for 30 days. After this period, it must be discarded.
If the expiration date has expired or the medication needs to be disposed of for other reasons, no special precautions are necessary. However, empty bottles should not be used for household purposes.
Composition and action
The basis of Helavita is a mineral complex, which includes the following microelements:
- Iron. Helps eliminate and prevent anemia. A deficiency of this mineral causes lethargy and weakness.
- Manganese. Strengthens bones and promotes normal joint function. A deficiency of this element can negatively impact the reproductive system.
- Copper. It helps absorb iron, plays a role in collagen synthesis, and forms connective tissue and bones. It has antioxidant properties and is involved in the production of pigment that colors animal fur.
- Zinc. A sufficient amount of this mineral in a cat's body is essential for thick, shiny fur. It also has a positive effect on skin condition.
- Selenium. Prevents muscle atrophy, including cardiac muscle atrophy.
- Iodine. A deficiency of this element in the body leads to thyroid problems and endocrine system disruptions. It can also lead to infertility.
- Cobalt. It is involved in the production of hemoglobin. A deficiency of this mineral results in slower growth and development. Furthermore, a deficiency in this micronutrient can lead to serious problems with pregnancy and conception.

The key feature of this product is that its microelements are contained in the form of chelavites. In other words, they are combined with amino acids, ensuring they are fully absorbed by the animal's intestines.
The ratio of microelements in the medicinal product is carefully calculated. Helavit replenishes minerals involved in important life processes and has the following effects on the body:
- strengthens the immune system;
- improves the condition of skin and coat;
- increases hemoglobin levels;
- normalizes metabolic processes;
- initiates regeneration processes and accelerates the rehabilitation period after injuries and surgeries;
- helps to cope with stressful situations and avoid negative consequences;
- stimulates the growth and development of pets;
- increases the viability of newborn kittens;
- improves the functioning of the reproductive system.

Please note! Consult your veterinarian before using Helavit. Remember, an overdose of minerals can be just as dangerous to your pet's health as a deficiency.
When to use
According to the instructions, Helavit for cats is used to treat the following diseases:
- anemia;
- metabolic disorders;
- hypothyroidism;
- micronutrient deficiency.
The drug is also used to prevent and treat stress that occurs after a visit to the veterinarian, transportation, participation in a show, or other situations. It is included in complex therapy for the following health problems:

- in case of baldness;

Indications for use in veterinary medicine
Dosage, regimen and features of use of the drug depend on its dosage form.
Injections
Helavit should be administered to cats intramuscularly or subcutaneously. The dosage is 0.05-0.1 ml per kg of body weight, depending on the animal's condition and other factors. If the medication is used therapeutically, the course of treatment is 1-2 weeks. When using the mineral complex for prevention, it is administered at the same doses, but 2-3 times per week. The duration of treatment is usually 2-3 weeks.
Internal use
The solution is added to a small amount of food or mixed with water, and then given to the animal to drink. The dosage is calculated based on the pet's condition and weight:
- For mineral deficiencies caused by poor nutrition and stress, adult cats are given 1-2 drops of Helavit. For kittens, this dosage is reduced to 1 drop.
- If the mineral complex is used during the rehabilitation period after surgery or serious injuries, in cases of exhaustion and for severely weakened pets, the single dose for adult animals is 3-5 drops, and for kittens - 2-3 drops.

The duration of treatment is determined individually depending on the pet's condition, pathology, symptoms, and other factors. It is recommended to administer the medication for 30 days.
Please note! Helavit drops are compatible with other feed additives and feeds.
Contraindications and side effects
The main advantage of this medication is that it has no contraindications. It can be used on kittens and pregnant cats, as well as on elderly or weakened animals with various health issues.
It is not recommended to administer Helavita injections when using medications containing iron and trace elements, to avoid overdose.
Because the mineral ratio and content in the complex are balanced, it is well tolerated by animals. The medication does not cause any side effects when used as directed. Side effects may only occur if the dose is exceeded 100 times. In this case, vomiting, nausea, or aggression may occur. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use of the medication.

- drops, 40 ml – 100-130 rubles;

Owner reviews
Lyudmila, owner of an 8-year-old cat:
"With the start of the heating season, my cat lost a lot of weight. We decided to try vitamins. We settled on Helavit drops. The affordable price was appealing. However, he didn't approve of our decision and flatly refused to drink the water-based solution with the drops. We tried forcing him to drink, which was painful. Then she started putting the drops in his food. He usually eats most of it. A week later, we noticed his coat was shiny, although he still hadn't gained any weight."
Victoria, owner of a Maine Coon:
"When my one-year-old cat started shedding in February, we didn't pay much attention. Hair loss occurred not only in the spring but also in the summer. It was everywhere in the apartment, and daily cleaning didn't help. When we got a vaccination at the hospital, we told the doctor about the problem. He prescribed Helavit. Imagine my surprise when, within a week, the hair loss had almost stopped. After a while, it became thick and shiny. There were no problems with feeding; we simply dropped the solution into his food."
Veterinarian Reviews
Marina, a veterinarian at a provincial clinic:
"Helavit is a good mineral complex. And although it's inexpensive compared to foreign alternatives, it works effectively. I've seen this firsthand. It's helped stop prolonged shedding on multiple occasions. In one case, a cat gave birth to four kittens, two of which were very weak and couldn't even nurse. They were given the mineral complex, and they quickly caught up with their siblings in development."
Viktor Vasilievich, a veterinarian with 12 years of experience:
"An indispensable remedy for anemia, although it's also effective in other conditions. I recommend it to cat owners as a preventative measure to keep their coats beautiful and their pets healthy. I've also prescribed it many times after surgeries and for infectious diseases. I've noticed that animals recover more quickly in these cases."
