Carnilove – dog food

Carnilove Everyday Dog Food Offered by the Czech manufacturing company Vafo Praha, Karnilav is an innovative holistic pet food formula with original ingredients similar in composition to the natural diet of canines in the wild.

Compound

One of the significant advantages of Carnilove foods is their grain-free formula, making them hypoallergenic and suitable for dogs with gluten intolerance. They also contain no synthetic preservatives, flavor enhancers, or artificial flavors.

The following ingredients are used to produce Carnilav feed:

• Duck and pheasant meal, duck fillet and duck liver (the total amount of these sources of animal protein is about 50%);
• Yellow peas and chickpeas are sources of carbohydrates, plant proteins, micronutrients, and vitamins. The total legume content is approximately 20%.
• Chicken and salmon oil (2%) - sources of lipids that provide the body with energy reserves.
• Apples and carrots are sources of fiber, which has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
• Cranberries, raspberries, and blueberries are a source of vitamins, essential amino acids, and oligosaccharides.
• Plantain, chicory root, thyme, rosemary, and oregano have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
• Flax seeds are a source of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids.
• Hydrolyzed crustacean shells (a source of chondroitin, glucosamine and monosaccharides that stimulate the regeneration of cartilage tissue).
• Yucca schidigera contains steroid saponins, suppresses the development of pathogenic microflora in the intestines, and eliminates unpleasant odor from feces.
• The preservative is tocopherol (vitamin E), and the thickener is cassava starch.

Carnilove food is available in dry and wet varieties, suitable for dogs of various ages and weights.

Dry food

Complete grain-free dry food Carnilove contains all the substances necessary for the dog's body and can be used as a main food product.

Chemical composition (BZHU) of Carnilove croquettes

Pellets are available in multi-layer kraft paper bags or double-layer polyethylene sacks, each weighing 1.5 kg, 4 kg, 6 kg, 12 kg, and 15 kg. A 12 kg package of Carnilove costs 6,500–7,000 rubles, while a 1.5 kg package costs around 1,000 rubles.

Canned goods

Carnilove wet dog food is available in metal cans. A 400g can starts at 350 rubles. According to the manufacturer, the wet food contains:

• 6.5% proteins;
• 4.5% lipids;
• 0.5% carbohydrates;
• 80% moisture.

"Czech Carnilove food is a good option for dogs. More than half of it is high-quality animal protein, and instead of potatoes, they use products containing more beneficial fiber with a low glycemic index. One drawback, in my opinion, is that most of the meat products are in the form of flour, and it's very difficult to control this component during food production. Reviews of Carnilove food are generally positive, although some animals experience minor bowel problems with this brand of food."

"I buy dry Carnilove with salmon for my Doberman puppy. He eats it with gusto. His stools became looser at first, almost runny, but returned to normal after a couple of weeks. The vet said I should have transitioned gradually, but I did it all at once.
