Operating principle
Binakar is a product for killing insects that infest the skin of animals. Its ingredients, imidacloprid and cypermethrin, synergistically enhance each other's insecticidal properties, increasing their effectiveness in killing. scabies mites, fleas, Vlas-eaters, lice, etc. Imidacloprid and cypermethrin affect parasites at all stages of development, having a destructive effect on both adults and larvae.
Imidacloprid is a type of neonicotinoid commonly used to control various insects. When imidacloprid enters the insect's body, it binds to acetylcholine receptors, disrupting the parasites' central nervous system. This causes paralysis, which ultimately leads to the death of the insect.
Cypermethrin is a second-generation pyrethroid—a synthetic insecticide similar to natural pyrethrins. Essentially, it's a neurotoxic insect poison. It easily penetrates the parasite's skin and causes nervous system dysfunction. Cypermethrin causes paralysis, followed by death. It also has repellent properties, protecting animals from reinfestation.
Cypermethrin is resistant to high temperatures and ultraviolet rays and is virtually insoluble in water. Therefore, it remains on treated surfaces for a long time.

Propolis extract has many properties that provide beneficial effects:
- bactericidal;
- anti-inflammatory;
- antioxidant;
- immunomodulatory.
It helps relieve skin irritation and accelerates wound healing. It soothes the skin and reduces inflammation.
When applied, the product spreads throughout the cat's body and is slightly absorbed into the skin. Thus, it maintains its insecticidal and repellent properties for a long time.
Binakar is a low-toxicity substance and is approved for use at the specified dosage. It is well tolerated and has no toxic, mutagenic, or teratogenic effects on animals.
Price
The cost will depend on the dosage. The approximate price for Binacar 0.4 ml is 50 rubles.

Owner reviews
Evgeniya:
"I use Binakar drops for cats and kittens for prevention and flea control. We live on the ground floor, and our cat loves to go outside. Consequently, he can become infested with fleas and, more dangerously, ticks. I apply the drops when the weather warms up, rather than waiting for the parasites to bother him. The treatment lasts for about three weeks. Then I repeat the treatment. There are no side effects, no changes in the cat's behavior, and the product does its job well."
Olga:
"I tried this product once. My cat caught fleas when we took her camping. It's inexpensive, and the reviews online are good. But it didn't work for us. First, it had a distinct odor that permeated the entire apartment, making it impossible to be in the same room with the cat. Second, it caused an allergic reaction. The cat started scratching profusely, and red spots appeared where the product had been applied. We had to wash it off, so we never learned how effective it was."
Veterinarian Reviews
Galina Sergeevna:
"Binakar for cats is an insecticidal acaricide and repellent. Its components are highly effective and active against various types of parasitic insects. According to the instructions, the product cannot be used more often than once every 4 weeks. This warning should be followed to avoid side effects in the animal. Like any insecticidal acaricide, Binakar can cause individual adverse reactions. In such cases, discontinue use."

After applying the drops, the apartment smelled of chemicals for several days. I started studying the ingredients in detail and found that they contained toxic substances, even in high doses, which could have disastrous consequences for the animal. I do not recommend these drops.

I was confused by the ingredients in Binakar - it contains propolis, which often causes allergies, and the lack of protection from ticks is also not an argument for it.

I didn't like Binakar at all. The dosage is vague. It's the same amount for both a kitten and a 4 kg cat... and the ingredients leave much to be desired. If you have children at home, don't even think about using this product.
