Berkley - dog food
Berkley dog food is produced by the German company Landguth Heimtiernahrung and its French subsidiaries. Veterinary nutritionists and dog trainers participated in the development of the formulas. The Berkley trademark is owned by the Russian company Pol i Pet. The products are available in premium canned and dry food, all certified, and meet international safety and nutritional standards. According to the manufacturer's official website, Berkley food contains no synthetic colors, preservatives, or flavors.

Compound
BERKLEY diets are based on natural meats: veal, lamb, rabbit, chicken, venison, and wild boar. Labels indicate that the meat content is 65-70%. The formula also includes:
- cereals (rice or barley);
- vegetables, fruits (pumpkin, zucchini, apples, yucca);
- berries (cranberries, blueberries);
- olive oil;
- vitamins.

According to veterinarians, Berkley dog food fully meets the animal's body's needs:
- Proteins participate in the construction and restoration of connective, epithelial, muscle, and nervous tissues, and are present throughout the body—from internal organs to bones and skin. Meat and grains are sources of protein.
- Cereals also contain a large amount of carbohydrates, which serve as the body's main source of energy and play an important role in maintaining immunity.
- Vegetables and fruits provide vitamins and minerals. But the special value of these plant foods lies in their high fiber content, which helps cleanse the gastrointestinal tract of toxins.
- Olive oil is a rich source of Omega-3 and Omega-6 unsaturated fatty acids. These acids are involved in virtually all metabolic processes, form part of cell membranes and blood vessels, and maintain healthy skin and coat.
- Vitamins A (retinol), B4 (choline), D (calciferol), E (tocopherol), C (ascorbic acid) - participate in the metabolism of fats, proteins and carbohydrates, serve as antioxidants, and improve immunity.

Reviews
Vladimir Nikolaevich Surkov, veterinarian:
"When evaluating the quality of pet food, I usually rely on its ingredients. Judging by the ingredients in Berkley's food, and in particular the relatively high amount of natural meat, even for a premium brand, this brand ranks above average. Moreover, Berkley's range of food is quite extensive, encompassing over 30 different diets for adult dogs and puppies. The only drawback is that the wet food recipes list broth, but don't specify whether it's derived from meat or vegetables. Overall, these foods can be safely recommended as a staple or supplementary food."
Sergey, Tolyatti:
"My neighbors recommended Berkley dry dog food; they've been feeding their collie canned food and kibble from this brand for a long time. I bought the "Lamb with Vegetables, Fruit, and Berries" kibble. A+ rating! The kibble looked and smelled great, and my dog ate it with gusto, with no stomach or intestinal issues. A couple of weeks later, we decided to try Berkley wet food and bought a can of "Veal with Rice." The effect was the same—Lina, the dachshund, devoured the canned food with gusto and even licked the food bowl clean: the pieces of meat and grains of rice were perfectly matched, and the smell was delightful. We'll be using this food regularly."
Tatyana, Moscow region:
We adopted a two-month-old spaniel puppy, and Berkley was his first meal. We bought canned puppy food called "Rabbit with Oatmeal" and "Lamb with Wholegrain Rice." Judging by the ingredients, appearance, and smell, the food was excellent quality. The dog had no allergies or indigestion, and he ate the pâté readily. Oddly, a puppy of about the same age that our friends acquired for some reason refused to eat Berkley pâté, although he ate the "Woof" economy dog food. Apparently, animals, like people, have different taste preferences.
