Young Russian developers have announced the launch of their unique Cat Klozet toilet for domestic cats. This new gadget will free cat owners from cleaning the litter box and eliminate unpleasant odors in their homes.

What's so special about the new cat litter box?

The Cat Klozet's uniqueness and advantages over other litter boxes lie in its flushing system. It recognizes your pet, flushes only after they leave the litter box, and flushes away all cat waste using a dynamic nozzle.

The device operates without litter and pays for itself in 6-12 months. The "smart" toilet is the brainchild of Krasnodar engineer Artem Volkov. After trying every possible solution for cleaning up cat waste, Artem and his friends decided to refine the flushing technology and developed a nozzle with a dynamic drive—it distributes water pressure across the entire surface of the Cat Klozet, providing a 100% flush guarantee.

Easy to install and easy to get used to

"The cat will easily get used to the new litter box," the developers promise, offering an adaptation system—special attachments of various types—to go along with the smart device.

According to engineers, the adaptation process takes about three weeks. The process of connecting the Cat Klozet is not much different from installing a washing machine—the gadget requires water and sewerage systems to operate.

A rechargeable battery provides power for up to five months of operation. After all components of the Cat Klozet had been tested, the developers announced a crowdfunding campaign. The device is attractive due to its price—the first backers of the campaign will receive it at a 50% discount. In the future, the Russian developers plan to develop a full line of gadgets for automated pet care.
